Sate Klatak, which is seasoned with spices and skewered with an iron grate, contains goat or beef meat. Usually, Sate Klatak is served with rice, curry or soy sauce, and slices of bird's eye chili.
The selection of an iron grate as a skewer for Sate Klatak is not without reason. This is because iron grates are considered to be able to conduct heat well. It's no wonder that the spice mixture will penetrate perfectly and add to the pleasure of this signature dish from Yogyakarta.

As one of the typical souvenirs from Yogyakarta, Bakpia can be considered the most iconic and always sought after by tourists. The name of Bakpia will become even more famous as this round flat cake will also be served in the ATF 2023 event in Yogyakarta.
Its sweet taste and crispy skin make Bakpia loved by many people and highly sought after as a souvenir by tourists from outside the region. Initially, Bakpia was only filled with green beans. Over time, there are now various flavors of Bakpia, ranging from chocolate, cheese, coconut, green tea, to red velvet.

The next typical Yogyakarta cuisine that will be served at ATF 2023 is Bakmi Jawa. The difference between Bakmi Jawa and other noodle dishes is that Bakmi Jawa uses larger and rounder noodles. Interestingly, Bakmi Jawa is always served with slices of cabbage and shredded chicken with fairly large pieces.
There are two types of Bakmi Jawa commonly served, namely the soup-based one with a savory taste and the fried one with a sweet taste. The way of cooking Bakmi Jawa in Yogyakarta is also quite unique, as it is cooked one by one using charcoal. This is what makes Bakmi Jawa have a very distinctive taste.
