This number is calculated from April 19, 2023 until Tuesday, April 25, 2023. The visits are predicted to continue until Sunday, April 30. "Until Tuesday morning, the number of visits was around 77,725 people," said Acting Head of Gunungkidul Tourism Office, Harry Sukmono, when contacted by telephone on Tuesday. Harry said the peak of tourist visits occurred on Monday (24/4/2023). In one day, the number of tourist visits reached 39,224 people. The agency is optimistic that the number of tourist visits during Eid Al-Fitr will continue to increase to 185,000 people, with local revenue (PAD) of IDR 1.3 billion. Meanwhile, as of Tuesday morning, the revenue obtained from tourist visits amounted to IDR 549.2 million. "It could still increase because visits on Tuesday are still ongoing, and the data will be compiled at night. There is still time until April 30, and hopefully the target for the Eid Al-Fitr holiday can be achieved," said Harry.

Surisdiyanto said that during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, all 63 personnel were deployed to provide security along the beach area from Pok Tunggal to Bukit Paralayang. Until Tuesday evening, there were seven cases of marine accidents, such as fatigue while playing in the water, being hit by waves, falling, and being dragged by the waves. However, there were no casualties due to these accidents. "We monitor the visitors using our members' drones to supervise the tourists," said Suris. Coordinator of Satlinmas Rescue Istimewa Wilayah 1, Sunu Handoko Bayu Sagara, said that his team also deployed three jukung boats, five ambulance cars, two ATV units, and one jetski. "We continue to be alert and will warn every visitor who plays in hazardous areas," he said.
